The students handcrafted the flowers and the assignment description is as follows:
The students would be given a choice of two
topics: 1) At the end of my rainbow…. and
2) My favorite color of the rainbow is…
After completing the assignment the student will be given a foam
flower-shaped door hanger and a piece of construction paper on which he or she
will glue their paragraph and his or her picture taken by the teacher. The student will also be given a piece of
green pipe cleaner to make the stem and leaf to complete the flower.
"Baa Baa Black sheep".

Description:
This finger/hand puppet was
really fun to make. It took a lot of
time because of the sewing that was done, but I’m sure that hot glue would have
worked well too. I am not a huge fan of
the glue because it makes such a mess. The materials used to make the were
various colors of felt, wiggly eyes, needles, thread, a glove, hot glue,
scissors, choice of fabric, and a sewing machine. No pattern was used for this project. The puppets
were made by drawing them on the felt and cutting them out.
